1. Who are we?

The data controller is Doge Game Studio, an EURL with share capital of €100, 149 avenue du Maine, 75014 Paris, France (RCS Paris 888 112 927). Contact: contact@dogegamestudio.eu.

2. Our websites

Our websites (dogegamestudio.eu and our game websites, such as aetheria.dogegamestudio.eu) do not set any cookies and do not use any audience measurement tools or advertising trackers. Fonts are hosted on our own server: no third-party service is called when you visit. If you choose a language or close the language suggestion, that choice is simply remembered in your browser (local storage) so that it is not suggested again; it is never sent to us.

Like any website, our host records technical logs (IP address, date, page requested, browser) to ensure the security and proper functioning of the service. Our host, OVH SAS (Roubaix, France), keeps them for a maximum of 12 months, in accordance with its legal obligations.

If you email us, we use your address and the content of your message only to reply to you, then keep them for a maximum of 3 years after our last exchange.

3. Our mobile games

Game progress. Your progress is saved on your device, with a player ID assigned by the game. If a game offers online saves, your progress is also stored on our servers or those of our host, so that you can recover it and so that we can fight cheating (see below). We don't need your name or email address for you to play.

Signing in with a third-party service. If you link your progress to Google Play Games, Sign in with Google, Game Center or Sign in with Apple, we receive from that service an account identifier and, depending on the service, your nickname, display name or email address. These are used only to sign you in, recover your progress and, where applicable, display your nickname in the game.

Nicknames and messages. If a game lets you choose a nickname or post content (guild name, messages), it is visible to other players. It may be filtered automatically (banned words) and reviewed by our team, particularly when it is reported, as provided for in our terms of use.

Fighting cheating and fraud. We may analyze your game data (progress, timestamps, purchases) to detect cheating, for example changing the device's clock or using third-party software, as well as purchase fraud. The measures that may result are described in our terms of use; you can always challenge them with our team.

Advertising (Google AdMob). Our games may display ads, including rewarded videos that you choose to watch. Google AdMob may then process your device's advertising ID, your IP address and ad interaction data. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, your consent is requested at first launch through Google's consent platform. You can change it at any time in the game's settings; without consent, only non-personalized ads are shown. Learn more: how Google uses data.

In-app purchases. Payments are processed by Google Play or the App Store. We never receive your bank details, only a purchase confirmation (transaction ID and product purchased) so that we can deliver your purchase.

Analytics and crash reports. Our games may use an analytics and crash-reporting tool (for example Google Firebase or Unity Analytics) to understand how the game is used and to fix bugs. These tools process an installation ID, your device model and operating system, and game events. This data is not used to show you advertising.

Reports and support. If you report content to us or contact our support, we use the information you provide (including your name and email address for a report) to handle your request and reply to you.

Retention periods. Your game account data (identifiers, progress, nickname, posted content) is kept for as long as you use the game, then deleted no later than 30 days after your deletion request, or after 3 years without signing in. Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months. Reports and your exchanges with our support are kept for a maximum of 3 years after our last exchange. Purchase data (transaction ID, product, date) is kept for as long as needed to handle complaints and refunds, and for up to 10 years where it serves as accounting records.

4. Legal bases

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some service providers (for example Google or Apple) may process data outside the EU. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (an adequacy decision, including the Data Privacy Framework, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

6. Children

Our games are not intended for children under 15 without a parent's consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15 without such consent; if you believe this has happened, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to its processing and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@dogegamestudio.eu. To delete your game account and its data, you can also use the game's settings where this feature exists. Finally, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or with the data protection authority of your country.

8. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when a new game is released. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
